How it works
From a spreadsheet to a list of what needs you.
1. Upload your subrecipient list
Drop in an Excel or CSV file in any layout. Subrecipient Watch finds the UEI column, the organization name and any Assistance Listing numbers by itself, and tells you about rows it couldn't use. More about lists.
2. We check the Federal Audit Clearinghouse
For each organization, we load its audits: when they were accepted, the opinion, the findings, the programs involved and who passed the money through. The data is refreshed daily, and you can check again at any time.
3. Everyone gets a status, most urgent first
Is an audit past the usual deadline? Is your management decision due? Is there nothing on file? See every status. Where the answer depends on something the data can't show, we say what to ask rather than guess.
4. Findings are matched to your award
A finding counts as yours when its program matches an Assistance Listing number on your list, or when the organization named you as the pass-through. The page lists the names your subrecipients use, so you can click the ones that are you. How matching works.
5. Deadlines become a to-do list
You see how many days are left on each management decision, and what to ask each subrecipient. Record a decision when you issue it, and it leaves your list. How dates are worked out.
6. Every check is saved as proof
Each check and decision is saved in a hash chain, so an edit or deletion later can be detected. That gives you something to show your own auditors. About records.
