Subrecipient Watch

Check records

Proof of when you checked and what the clearinghouse said.

What gets saved

Pressing Check now and save a record saves one record per subrecipient: the time, the data's date, the status and the full result. Recording a management decision saves a record too.

Tamper-evident

Each record's SHA-256 hash covers its content and the previous record's hash. Changing or removing an old record breaks every hash after it, and GET /v1/verify-records recomputes the whole chain to show that.

What they prove, and don't

Records show that you ran a check at a given time and what the result was. They aren't an audit opinion, or proof that your monitoring meets every requirement, and it's up to your auditors how much weight to give them.

Getting them

Use GET /v1/records in the API, or ask us for an export. A download button on the page isn't built yet.
